How can you join with us on this journey of adopting a child?

Prayer: 

We would ask you to pray with us, that God would strengthen our faith, grow us, provide for us, and use us for His glory along the way. When unbelievers ask about our adoption, we want to tell them that we were once orphaned but have been adopted into God's family and now motivated to adopt an orphan into ours. As it relates to believers, we hope that our pursuit of adoption functions as a sort of "first-fruits," encouraging many others to do likewise in keeping with James 1:27. Please pray with us to these ends!

Financial Help: 

While we do not want any of our friends to feel obligated to donate towards our adoption, several have asked what this will cost and how they can help. Depending on some variables related to paperwork and travel, we face costs between $28,000-$33,000.

We recently received word from Lifesong that they have decided to offer us a $3,000 matching grant! In order to receive this grant, we have to raise another $3,000 of support. So, dollar for dollar (up to $3,000), they will match everything that our friends, family, and others give toward our adoption! 

Dave and I would be incredibly thankful for your prayers and any financial help that you might be willing to give. Literally, every dollar that you give will be doubled. Any gifts, large or small, will bring us one step closer to bringing our boy home.

2. Select Give to an Adoptive Family 

3. Complete online form and fill in Family Account Number (#3677) & Family Name (Marriott Family) Fields

*Please note that PayPal will charge an administrative fee (2.9% + $.30 USD per transaction). Your donation will be decreased by the amount of this fee.

*Individual donations $250 or more and yearly donations totaling $250 or more will receive a tax- deductible receipt. Receipts for donations under $250 will gladly be sent upon request. Lifesong is a 501(c)3 tax exempt organization.

If you would like to help financially to bring our child home, you can click below on the "donate" button to give securely through PayPal. This will be donated directly into Lifesong's account, which will then be dispersed to us.

Note: You do not have to have a paypal account to use this feature, any major credit card is acceptable. These funds will be earmarked in paypal and then sent on directly to our adoption agency.

Purchase a Necklace:

One way that you could physically help us to bring our Ethiopian boy home is to purchase one of these necklaces (note: there are a few different color choices). A large bulk of the purchase price will come directly back to us for our adoption. A friend from high school, Susan Dack, saw that we were adopting and completely volunteered her time and efforts to help us!! The verse on the necklace is actually from John 14:18, when Jesus promises that He will not leave us alone, as orphans, but that He will send us the Holy Spirit. Powerful truth and reminder as you wear this necklace!
